Congratulations to the Richman and Paton teams for qualifying for the Tasmanian Open Teams Finals
The Tasmanian Swiss Teams was held at the TBA Clubrooms over the weekend of 3rd / 4th June 2023. The competition included qualification for the Tasmanian Open Teams Finals, the Challenge Cup (between teams of players from a single club), and a handicap result. 12 teams competed, including players from Launceston and Devonport.
The winners of the Open competition were the Richman team - Sandra and Andrew Richman, Hilton Francis and John Bailey. Second placed and winners of the Challenge Cup (representing the TBA) were the Paton team - Ann Paton, Wynne Webber, David Robinson and Phil Beck. Third placed were the Edler team - Jane and Simon Edler, Bob Ranson and Frank Milford. The handicap winners were the Murphy team - Pam Murphy, Barbara Giizel, Maggie Crawford and Fiona Hickey. The Richman and Paton teams will compete in the Tasmanian Open Teams Finals on the weekend of 17th / 18th June.
